You will need it!
Ingredients
125 ml (1/2 cup) finely chopped vegetables for spaghetti sauce
450 g (1 lb) minced beef
10 ml (2 tsp) of El-Ma-Mia meat pie seasoning
250 ml (1 cup) of Arborio rice
750 ml (3 cups) of beef broth
15 ml (1 tbsp) of canola oil
10 ml (2 tsp) chopped garlic
60 ml (1/4 cup) of parmesan shavings
Steps
In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook the vegetables and, if desired, the garlic for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the ground beef and the pie seasoning. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the Arborio rice and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is creamy.
If desired, garnish with parmesan shavings when serving.
