El-Ma-Mia H-12 Tomato Sauce Recipe: Tomatoes simmered with onions, butter, and H-12 seasoning (basil & garlic). Perfect as a base for pasta, pizza, or stews in about an hour!

H-12 tomato sauce (base)

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour

You will need it!
Ingredients
45 ml (3 tbsp) of butter
300 g (2 cups) of chopped onions
1 can of 1.36 L of tomato juice
2 cans of 796 ml diced tomatoes
1 sachet of 110g of El-Ma-Mia H-12 seasoning
1 can of 156 ml tomato paste
Steps
Melt the butter in a large pot.
Add the onions and brown them lightly.
Incorporate the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Cook over low heat and simmer uncovered for 1 hour.
Stir regularly during cooking.
Important
Do not use a lid during or after cooking. Before refrigerating or freezing, allow the sauce to cool.
